Privacy Policy

If you don’t create an account: lesson completions, XP, and streak live only in your browser’s localStorage rather than an account record. The starting-point check saves only a suggested lesson on this device, not answers or scores. The Market Lab saves completed mission IDs and up to six experiments with their model inputs on this device. Clear your saved step on the homepage or clear your notebook in the lab. Usage events are described below.

If you create an account (email + password, or Google sign-in): your email, an optional display name, and the same progress data above, your exercise code and short-session results — synced via Supabase so they follow you to a new device.

If you play a season: the handle you choose (never your real name) and your score appear on leaderboards; your code and explanation are private to you and are used to compute your score.

If your work is verified: we keep the verified item, reviewer, date, a record of parent consent for the review call, and private notes. You can choose to create a record link showing only your handle and verified items. Revoking it stops the link from working; your real name and private notes are never on that page.

If a parent joins the intensive waitlist: we keep that parent’s email, the student’s grade and any note, and use them only to contact that parent about the cohort.

If you join a class: your teacher sees your display name, which assigned lessons you’ve finished and when, and your exercise code. If your class runs the six-week program, your capstone is private to you; your teacher can open it, and each time they do it’s shown to you. A capstone is only public if you create a share link, which shows the work without your name and stops working the moment you turn it off.

If you subscribe to Pro or a School plan: Stripe handles checkout directly — we never see or store your card number. We only keep the subscription status and plan Stripe tells us about, tied to your account.
